For example when clicking "bipolar transistors". There should be a way to immediately see all of them. Categorizing by markets or types is not helpful.
Also, start with transistors and not already split into low VCEsat and "regular" ones. Engineers prefer to see it all together and then select, not the other way around.
Some praise: The beta site is a heck of a lot faster than the rather sluggish regular NXP site.
But as someone already suggested, don't use Java or anthing fancy. Engineers don't need fluff :-)61 votes
Update: Thanks for the compliments. We’ll take it into consideration but this will mean long lists of products that are in some cases difficult to compare.
When asking for personal info for download or free sample request, please use my MyNXP account.26 votes
Good suggestion. We are working towards this so called single sign on solution in the near future.
If you do a parametric search for LPC175x/6x/7x/8x, the SPI , I2C and Vcc fields are empty. It might give the wrong impression that these peripherals are not supported.19 votes
We’ll look into this. Thanks for flagging.
Good idea, we’ll get working on this.
Profile update will not let me change email address even though there is a FAQ telling how. Should I delete my profile and start again?9 votes
add link from MyNXP to review order status and order history including samples9 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll pick this up in a future upgrade for MyNXP.
Improve your search, it does a simple OR of search terms and generates far too many hits to be usable. For example the search for a "voltage clamp" gives me many hits on Voltage and clamp, clamping etc. No priority for a voltage clamp at the top of the results8 votes
Thanks for your feedback, we are currently working on a new search release going live this summer. We’ll be using your feedback as input.
I have made support request with case #. I could not find a method from within my.NXP to return to that support case. Add one
Unless I missed it. Add a tab or dashboard area for support case handling. I needed to return to an existing one to re-open a case and I could not find a way to do that.8 votes
We started the implementation of offering technical support tickets information and updates in MyNXP.
This is not yet available, but this is exactly what we aim to add in one of the upcoming releases
Good suggestion. We’ll look into this.
Take, for example, the search for "Logic / Binary Counters". All the interesting functional details are hidden inside of the "Description" column. There you get stuff like "14 stage ripple counter with oscillator; TTL enabled". Searching for a counter with a specific number of stages is tedious that way.
Please provide a proper set of parameters for the search (in all areas, the example above is just one example of many), so we don't have to rely on selecting many items from the 'Description' field.6 votes
You definitely need to add an "EEPROM" column to the microcontroller parametric search!6 votes
When using the design tools (I recently used the Non-isolated LED Driver Design Tool), at one point I'm asked for a login. I would expect that my existing myNXP login would be honored there... (It didn't even work, I needed to re-register over there just to see the resulting schematic)6 votes
The implementation of log-in design tools with MyNXP account is now started.
Thank you for your feedback. This functionality is something we have planned for a future release.
I like that the Type Search box offers a list of matching items but if I type in 'L' it offers me the first 5 "LM" items. Maybe it should offer me the list of next valid letters. For example "LM", "LP" etc.6 votes
Thank you for your suggestion. This is a very good suggestion, we will look into the possibilities to do this.
PC1114 LPC1115 and pthers non XL version of the LPC11xx family is not adressable from M0 micro produtcs page6 votes
In the forum list, the color of the topics is very hardly readable - small and light blue (!) on white background. Improve the color and size of this text! It should have much better contrast - and since the "last post" column already uses two lines of smaller text, it could also use a larger size to improve readabilty (and help to get a fast overview of the topics).6 votes
We’re plan to upgrade the existing forums to a newer technology, which will also lead to a more modernized look&feel
For instance, consider the text " Various UBA2024 CFL driver package". I feel its better to add a link under the word "UBA2024" directed to that particular IC's page.5 votes
Update: After the launch we will implement this to every new page we create and start working on existing pages. Thanks for your suggestion.
Thanks for the suggestion. We are currently looking into the impact to do this.
it is strange that one cannot change his e-mail adres and thus really have a my nxp account indepentant of the company one works for.
let people chang their e-mail adres.
I need to do now, but do not know how/see that nowhere. I can change everything except my e-mail adres.

This is currently not possible, but we fully understand the need to be able change your email address or remove an account, especially when more personalized services will be connected to MyNXP. We’re planning such a feature for the next release. For the moment, please simply create a new account.
The check-box to the right of the part number currently only allows for manual filtering.
I think it would be useful to allow for other group operations such as: Open all selected, download all selected datasheets, etc.5 votes
Thanks for the good suggestions. We will pick this up in one of the future releases.
Several revisions of appnotes may be available, some with and some without software. They are now presented in one long list that makes it hard to find the most recent version or the software that goes with it (if any). Example: LPC1343 app notes.
Also, allow sorting on file extension.5 votes
We plan to group appnotes in one of the future releases in a better way. We will also facilitate sorting on file extension.
